Jacqueline Bailey born December 1964, in Panama City, Republic of Panama, showed the promise of a writer early in age. An avid reader, of many genre, her curiosity grew with age. By age eleven she had many subject in which she could write about. With a pen in hand, she collected thoughts upon paper. Only to be put away in secret for a time.
In 1994, on a whim she started writing again. Jacqueline, quietly penned her thoughts, on current political issues, and other news of the day. However, her poetry still remained in the shadows, unknown to many. It wasn't until 1996, did she begin to show her work. Read in public and display them openly.
Jacqueline at times is witty and very personal. And yet she is a very private person with a strong love for the Lord. A sensitive woman, Jacqueline has displayed enormous empathy in times of crisis. She has been known as the one to go to when in time of need. This is clearly reflected in her writings.
She holds a degree in Sociology, and pursued a Master degree in Public Administration. She has decided not to take the last examination to receive her degree in Public Administration. Rather, she has returned to school to pursue another degree in the Arts.
Jacqueline now works with the intent to share the experience of poetry with the world. Together with Wayne Norman, Jacqueline has CO-founded the Wayne Norman Poetic Society. The goal of the organization is to encourage reading comprehension through the promotion of poetry. Using poetry as a vehicle to improve world literacy.
