Christmas Treasures

Howling winds against the panes

Only the blizzard seems untamed

Snowflakes gallery falling free

Covering the trees in natural ease

Snow packed hills sleds of thrills

Skaters on the pond winter's chill

Beauties treasures dressed in white

Our heavenly bride of angels delight

My laziness attaches lingering peace

Caroling we hear in hymns of praise

Echos in refrain choirs that breathe

Must I move again for dreams relief

Helplessness before the fire begins

Softly laughing with impartial grins

Youth once shared me a time ago

Legends retold remembered alone

Letters to Santa Clause folded bent

Many stamped North Pole we sent

Only wish lists of hand written text

Became so dear amidst happiness

Trees abound twinkling lights glow

Store fronts become shoppers gold

Watch the children on Christmas Eve

Faces so intense you must believe

Such avenues with spirits to seek

People rushing from street to street

Waves of impulsiveness reeling free

Embracing Christmas love to keep
